Street peace gippsland update
After months of planning and praying, Street Peace Gippsland finally has a Nest! While the space is still a work in progress, it’s already becoming a place where young people feel welcomed, safe, and connected.
Led by Brionhey and Josh Hagen, the Gippsland Hub in Moe has been creating a relaxed environment where young people can simply hang out, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging. The youth have been loving the new space, with Nintendo DS Mario Kart battles, card games, arts and crafts, and plenty of moments shared around meals and conversation.
One of the recent highlights was celebrating one of our young people turning 18 with a fun night of go-karting—creating memories, laughter, and meaningful connection outside the usual weekly program.
As the Gippsland Hub continues to grow, the need for more volunteers is becoming increasingly important. Having more safe and consistent adults involved means more opportunities to build mentoring relationships and support young people who are navigating difficult seasons in life.
The team is excited about what’s ahead and grateful for everyone continuing to support, pray for, and champion the vision of Street Peace Gippsland.

We’re currently looking for more volunteers to help support the growing Gippsland Hub. Whether it’s mentoring, helping create a welcoming environment, cooking meals, playing games, or simply showing up consistently—your presence can make a real difference in a young person’s life. If you’re passionate about seeing youth connected, encouraged, and supported, we’d love to hear from you.
