STRONGER TOGETHER
OUR MISSION
Street Peace relentlessly pursues volatile at-risk youth, disrupting their mindsets and behaviours by building trusting relationships that address trauma, encourage hope, drive change, restore lives and bring peace back to the streets.
When disconnection is the problem, human connection is the solution.
Every week across Australia a growing number of young people face trauma, violence, and hopelessness. Many are couch surfing, disconnected from school, and have no trusted adults in their lives.
Street Peace is changing that.
We meet young people where they’re at, on the streets, in skateparks, and at our drop-in centre, The Nest.
We don’t wait for them to reach out. We show up.
But right now, we’re at capacity. There are more young people seeking support than we have the funding to care for.
Why We’re Asking Now?
In the last year alone:
- Antisocial behaviour among Frankston youth rose 12.2%
- Family violence against youth increased 19.1%
- Over
7,000 young people are disengaged from school across Frankston
Without intervention, this turns into crime, addiction, and lifelong trauma.
Young people in crisis feel the weight of loneliness, conflict, and instability more intensely when they don't have support.
Every donation helps us reach another young person in time.
Here’s what your gift MAKES POSSIBLE
- Connection: 69% of our youth say Street Peace feels like family.
- Healing: Despite 55% struggling with anxiety and 50% facing daily depression, 70% say they feel hopeful about their future.
- Change: 30% say Street Peace helped them leave a dangerous path and live an honest life.
- Commitment: 58% have stayed engaged for over a year.
Real PROGRESS. Real stories.
What Happens When You Mentor Instead of Punish?
This report is proof that consistency, compassion, and community still work.
Inside, you'll find hard data and raw stories - young people choosing peace over violence, purpose over chaos.
These are the kind of results monthly donors make possible. If you've ever wondered where your support goes… this is your answer.
And if you’re new to our work? This is the heartbeat of Street Peace.
MEET THEM IN THE MIDDLE
YOUR DONATION IS A LIFELINE FOR AT RISK YOUTH
We’re aiming to raise
$520,000
in support by June 30th 2026 to sustain:
- Mentoring programs
- Meals and mental health support
- Expansion of The Nest to 5 days a week
- New hubs in Bendigo, Gippsland & Darwin
- Employment pathways through SP Worx & Flo Landscapes
This isn’t about charity...
It’s about hope. It’s about community. It’s about showing up when no one else does.
Because when kids ask, “Does anyone care about me?”
Street Peace says
yes.
Support a NATIONAL movement THAT's changing lives of at risk youth
What started in Frankston is now spreading to Gippsland, Bendigo, Darwin and opening soon in Hastings.
In 2026, we’re launching a
Training Centre to equip barbers, tradies, teachers, and everyday people with the tools to lead transformation in their own towns.
Your donation doesn’t just help one youth.
It fuels a national movement of hope, healing, and connection

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is Street Peace raising $520,000 this EOFY?
In Frankston, it means moving to full-time operations, launching WILDERHOOD and LEVELUP, and building up the national training centre that takes the Street Peace model to communities we have not reached yet.
In Bendigo, Moe, and Darwin, it means something equally important. Right now those hubs run almost entirely on volunteers without a hub space.
Dedicated, passionate people giving their time, but without the professional infrastructure to scale.
This funding puts paid outreach workers and administrators on the ground & funds the 3 new hub locations.
Where does my donation go?
Straight to the people doing the work.
$250,000 goes to Frankston and the National Training Center.
$270,000 funds the hub network in Bendigo, Moe, and Darwin.
Here's a breakdown of where your support lands:
• $100 covers a week of mentoring for a young person
• $300 funds meals, support, and programming at The Nest
• $2,800 supports outreach and job pathways for multiple youth
Every dollar helps provide food, mentorship, employment support, and connection to youth who often have no one else.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes.
Street Peace is a registered Australian charity and Public Benevolent Institution (PBI).
All EOFY donations are fully tax-deductible.
You’ll receive a donation receipt immediately after giving.
Can I make a monthly donation?
Absolutely, and we’d love that.
Monthly donations help us plan ahead, hire more mentors, and show up consistently for young people.
It’s simple to set up, and you can cancel anytime.
What makes Street Peace different?
We don’t sit in offices. We go to the streets. We build trust first, then offer tools for change.
Unlike many services that require youth to come to them, we meet them where they are: skateparks, alleyways, food courts, and shopping centres.
It’s not transactional, it’s relational.
That's why it works so well.
Can I visit The Nest or get more involved?
Yes. We welcome community champions.
If you’re considering workplace giving, volunteering, or corporate partnership, reach out to us directly.
You’ll see the impact with your own eyes, and meet the young people whose lives you’re helping shape.
Contact: hello@streetpeace.com.au
What happens if you don’t reach your goal?
We won't be able to grow into new areas, run amazing holiday programs that bring healing to our youth or grow our street outreach, and we may need to reduce our operations.
How many young people does Street Peace support?
In 2024-25:
• We made 100+ street connections per week
• Over 210 new youth visited The Nest
• Around 45+ attend weekly, many long-term
• We’ve helped 28 youth find employment through SP Worx and partners
Behind each number is a life changed, and a story still being written.
